Rashid Al Falasi, founder of BUSET started business thru food trading in 1964, 7 years before the federation of the United Arab Emirates. His vision was to establish a trading company in those days when trade and commerce were not as wide spread and prevalent as today in the UAE. He started the Catering Business for Military, Police, Government Hospitals, Schools, and other government authorities. Over the period of time other companies were established under his guidance and which now constitute the Buset Group. He was actively involved in all of his businesses until his demise in 2001.


Buset Group of Companies [General Trading, Investments, Construction, Industrial and Health Services] is the umbrella organization to its constituent companies and has been carrying out various businesses in the UAE in over a decade.

The “Group” has taken an additional responsibility of looking into investment opportunities into other different business streams and areas with the view of diversifying the interests of the group.

To provide excellent product and value added services to clients for a long –term and mutually- beneficial relationship.

The vision and commitment was to expand, diversify activities and direct the group to the next level of growth and profitability.
